Staffing

There are altogether 7,218 staffs within the department out of that 1,100 are administrative posts and 4,904 are technical posts. In addition, there are 1,121 Armed Forest Guards who are responsible for the protection of National Forests. Among all those human resources 248 are Gazetted officers and 6,970 are Non Gazetted staffs.
